I’m Veronica and I am looking forward to meeting you all!

Here is a little bit about me:

I have been an educator for over 18 years. Before I specialised in English teaching, I worked for Blackpool Council in the education department supporting children who were from minority communities in primary and high school. Over the past 12 years I have been teaching both academic and general English in Greece. I also tutor Academic English on pre-sessional courses at various prestigious universities in the UK. I received my MA and PhD at Manchester University in Languages & Linguistics where I also taught on a Language and Linguistics course as well as working on various research language projects.

I grew up in a village in the suburbs of Manchester, United Kingdom and I moved to Greece over 10 years ago. I am a fan of Manchester United, a club I’m sure you’ve heard of! I enjoy the sunny climate of Greece and being close to the beautiful beaches and landscapes, but my heart still lies in Manchester.

In my free time I spend my time looking after two very lively boys, which takes up a lot of time!!!! I have made sure they are Manchester United fans too! I also enjoy drawing and painting. It helps me relax and I enjoy experimenting with different methods. I’m currently using pen and loving it!
